Privacy Policy

When you use ConvertFastHub without an account, we process your IP address and the files you upload solely to perform the conversion you requested and to enforce the free-tier usage limit.

If you create an account, sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Apple, or subscribe to Pro, we also store your email address and, for password accounts, a securely hashed password (we never store passwords in plain text). When you sign in with a third-party provider, we receive only your name and email address from it — never your password with that provider.

Uploaded files are used exclusively to produce the converted output you asked for. We do not inspect, analyze, or use file contents for any other purpose, and we never sell your files.

Your IP address and account usage are used to enforce the free-tier daily conversion limit and to detect abuse.

Uploaded and converted files are stored temporarily in encrypted object storage and are automatically and permanently deleted after a retention window that depends on your plan: 1 hour without an account, 24 hours with a free account, and 7 days with Pro. Deletion happens whether or not you download the result.

Strictly necessary cookies: an HttpOnly session cookie that keeps you logged in, and a cookie that remembers your chosen language. These are required for the service to function and are not subject to the consent banner.

Advertising and measurement cookies: once you accept the cookie banner, we and our advertising partners (including Google AdSense) may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, measure their performance, and, where enabled, personalize them based on your visits to this and other sites. If you decline, only strictly necessary cookies are set and no advertising cookies are used.

You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain, and you can control ad personalization directly at Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com).

Stripe processes payments; Stripe's own privacy policy governs the payment details you provide directly to them. We never see or store your card number.

Google, Microsoft, and Apple provide optional sign-in ("Sign in with...") and, in Google's case, advertising (Google AdSense) once you accept the cookie banner. Each operates under its own privacy policy.

This service is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us using the Privacy & data requests address on our Contact page and we will delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and, under CCPA/CPRA, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (which, for us, means declining the cookie consent banner so no advertising cookies are set).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the Privacy & data requests address on our Contact page. We respond to all verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Our infrastructure and service providers may process data outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for such transfers.

Uploaded and converted files: deleted after the plan-based window described above (1 hour anonymous, 24 hours free account, 7 days Pro). Account data: retained until you request deletion. Advertising/measurement cookies: retained per the duration set by the relevant provider, and always removable by you at any time.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date below.
